The PADI Discover Scuba program was introduced to enable people to experience scuba in a highly supervised environment and in a very short time. The course lets you experience some basic concepts and scuba skills.

REQUIRED AGE/ CERTIFICATION LEVEL
- Minimum age: 10 years old. (There are special rules in regards to depth limitations and training procedures for 10 to 11 year olds.)
- This program is conducted in a pool or in a confined open water environment with a maximum depth of 6 meters/ 20 feet.
COURSE OVERVIEW
- Participants are taught the principles of safe diving procedures and techniques of scuba diving using cue cards or a flip chart.
- The dive Instructor will complete a pool session with you over a 1 to 2 hour period. You will then complete two Open water dives on a reef in 30 feet of water where you will experience a thrill of a lifetime!
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
- Mask, fins and snorkel (all other equipment is supplied for the duration of the course)
WHERE CAN YOU GO FROM HERE
- The Discover Scuba course can be credited for Open Water Dive One at the Instructor’s discretion.
