Scuba diving in the Fort Lauderdale area offers some of the best scuba diving in the USA. The water temperatures average from 72 to 78 degrees in the winter and 82 to 88 in the summer, which makes it a great year round diving destination. Visibility averages around 60 feet.

The Pompano area also offers both great wreck and reef diving.
